marie hofmeyer | owner + interior designer

Marie’s talents reflect a seamless blend of knowledge, skill, and inspiration. Design is her passion, and she deeply understands the transformative impact it can have on people’s lives. Marie brings both function and style to every project, earning a reputation for creating interiors that highlight each client’s unique character. Her keen eye for detail and fresh perspective make her a trusted collaborator for clients and contractors alike.

Before Holland House, Marie studied Interior Design and graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in 2005. She worked as an interior designer in Prairie Village, Kansas prior to moving back to Orange City.  In 2010, Marie established Holland House to fulfill her lifelong dream of owning her own design studio.

Ray Turano leads Holland House Painting, overseeing a skilled crew that handles everything from full-home projects to single-room updates. Lexi Faas | Store Manager

Lexi joined Holland House in 2024, bringing her creativity and enthusiasm to support Marie with design projects. She now is our Spirit Lake Store Manager and oversees social media, all while continuing to assist Marie in designing beautiful, inspiring spaces.

Kerstyn Jeltema | Warehouse Manager

Kerstyn started at Holland House in 2022 as a sales associate and has since grown into her role as Orange City Warehouse Manager and assistant designer. She oversees all warehouse operations while also assisting with decorating and design projects.
